چکیده

Aim: This case report aims to illustrate a clinical protocol that allows for the rehabilitation of patients requiring extensive osteotomy, simultaneous implant placement, and full-arch, screwed-in prosthetics in one session. improvement aesthetics functionality fixed implant-supported prosthesis through preoperative planning all surgical procedures, including application 3D-printing technology creation templates prostheses. Methods: concerns 72-year-old patient, ASA1, who, following diagnosis, establishment treatment plan, provision informed consent, opted an immediate, full-arch lower arch. The digital stage started with correct positioning fixtures. proper bone levels were found used guide provisional prothesis. Two same supports (landmarks/pins) then 3D-printed: template, slit assist surgeon during surgery template implants’ positioning. A encased resin C&B MFH (NEXTDENT®, Soesterberg, Netherlands) was delivered. Minimal occlusal adjustments performed. Results: In single session, careful pre-operative 3D printing prosthesis, temporary prosthetic possible required extended osteotomy. Clinically, correspondence between virtual design phase final realization consistent. At functional level, minimal DVO values obtained immediate post-operative period be comparable those design. By position implants advance, it deliver prothesis emergence, vertical dimensions, relationship. Conclusion: fully clinician preview plan osteotomy as well delivery temporary, immediately loaded, complete, who are candidates post-extraction need severe

Restoring esthetics by immediately loaded implant placement

The replacement of a single missing anterior tooth with an implant-supported crown is a demanding therapy. This report describes a treatment in which an anterior maxillary implant was immediately restored with a provisional restoration. During the provisional phase, an optimal emergence profile was created by adjusting the provisional restoration. An impression was made with an individually fab...

Macroscopic and microscopic evaluation of a new implant design supporting immediately loaded full arch rehabilitation.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate macroscopic and microscopic appearance of a new implant design, with particular emphasis given to the type of prosthesis connection. Two dental implants of the same type (Torque Type(®), WinSix(®), BioSAFin. S.r.l. - Ancona, Italy), with sandblasted and acid etched surfaces (Micro Rough Surface(®)), but differing from each other for the prosthesis connec...

Full arch rehabilitation in severe maxillary atrophy with palatal approach implant placement: a case report.

PURPOSE The edentulous severely atrophic maxilla, as consequence of alveolar bone resorption and pneumatisation of the maxillary sinus, represents a serious limitation to the implant rehabilitation. Implants insertion via palatal approach (PA), in combination with relatively minimally invasive techniques aimed at increasing bone volume without the use of autologous bone harvesting is a valid al...

Computer-guided implant placement: 3D planning software, fixed intraoral reference points, and CAD/CAM technology. A case report.

The aim of this article is to explain the use of a computer-aided three-dimensional planning protocol in combination with previously placed mini-implants and computer-aided design/computer-assisted manufacture (CAD/CAM) technology to restore a completely edentulous patient. Mini-implants were used to establish a setup for computerized tomographic imaging and a surgical template. The software an...

Full-arch restoration of the jaw with fixed ceramometal prosthesis.

Between 1990 and 1995, 214 implants were placed in 29 maxillae and mandibles of 22 patients following extraction of all residual teeth as a consequence of severe periodontal disease. All patients were discharged wearing immediate dentures. The implants were analyzed with regard to the number per arch, location, length, and diameter. The 5-year cumulative survival rate was 98.5%. The mean number...
